How To Trade Stocks With No Spare Time

– So, how do you trade stocks if you’re busy? How do you trade stocks if you have no free time? How do you become successful? Watch this video. (upbeat music) What’s up, Tim Sykes, millionaire mentor and trader here answering your questions. A lot of people ask me, I want to be rich, but I’ve got a family, I’ve got a job, how do I manage it all, maybe I’m in school, how do you deal with a work-life balance? If you truly want to be successful and you want to be part of the richest 1% and you’re not born into it, I wasn’t born into it, I was raised middle class, probably lower to middle class if you wanna get into it.

I didn’t travel, I didn’t have any luxuries growing up as a kid. I was trying to be a tennis player, I would wake up at a.m. every morning, play tennis from to then go to school at 7:30, I would wear warm-ups to class, kids made fun of me, but I didn’t care because I was so focused on becoming a professional tennis player. I lost junior year in high school in the state finals, I was so pissed, I wanted revenge, I worked out so hard, I practiced so hard, I wanted to win the whole state title.

Senior year of high school and I practiced and worked out so hard that I actually injured my arm, my dad now calls it a million dollar injury, but I worked my ass off trying to become good and it actually led to my downfall. That happens, okay, you gotta be obsessed. How do you balance everything? I don’t know we’re all different, but I will say that the tennis example, the reason why I tell you this is because I’ve always been crazy with my work ethic.

I wasn’t even voted captain of my tennis team despite being the number one player. My number two player, McDonald, God bless you buddy, he was captain of the tennis team, that made me even more bitter, why was I not captain? Oh, I can be a jerk, my friends, my family, my students can all say that, but more than me being a jerk is my insane work ethic. We played tennis… The tennis courts weren’t built yet at my high school, so we had a temporary practice court and courts at Yale Bowl.

We didn’t have a home, so Yale Bowl hosted us, I’m from New Haven, Connecticut, right around there, so we would go play right around Yale Bowl, and Yale Bowl’s this giant football stadium. Every single day, before practice and after practice, I would run up and down the steps. I’m not that good at fitness, but I was insane about trying to make myself physically fit, and my other classmates and teammates told me, if they made me captain, they said, Tim, you would’ve made us run Yale Bowl with you everyday, and I was like, yeah, you’re right. They didn’t want to do that, they didn’t have the heart. So, what kind of heart do you have? What kind of dedication do you have? We all have busy lives, okay. I’m filming these videos, I’m answering your questions, I’m losing my voice, tomorrow I’m giving a seven-hour live training webinar to my top students, click the link just below this video if you want access to my live webinars. Challenge students get between two, three, sometimes even four live webinars per week. You think I don’t have anything else to do for seven hours? You think I want to lose my voice? I don’t, but I do what’s required to be successful, and I want more successful students and more successful students come from live webinars, and tomorrow I’m doing it all day one, seven hours, I don’t know, leave a comment, let’s see after how many hours do you think I’m gonna lose my voice, and you can tell I’m already struggling and this isn’t even a few minutes long, so leave a comment, let’s see who’s right.

How many hours, am I gonna lose my voice after three, four, five, or six hours, or maybe I’ll go the whole way and maybe it’ll be seven? You tell me, three, four, five, six, or seven, leave a comment below. But long story short, you gotta be dedicated whether its sports, hopefully you don’t have iffy genetics like I do where, frankly, a Jewish professional tennis player, there’s just not many of them, I was fighting God, I’m fighting genetics, it’s not easy, stock trading, much better, all my brethren, all my Jews were accountants, lawyers, dentists, we sit behind a desk, we’re good with money, we’re good with skills that pay six or seven figures per year.

I make jokes, but I’m also serious. How dedicated can you be? Freak work-life balance, okay. If you truly want success in an industry where 90% of traders lose, you’re gonna have to put in time and effort. I’m not saying trade everyday, I’m saying use your brain, prepare everyday, study an hour, study two hours, study five hours, study 10 or 15 hours a day, just don’t burn out because you have to understand that the greatest success you’ll have is probably year two, year three, year four, year five, year 10, not year one.

You’re gonna have to put in a lot of time and effort studying at first, your friends and family are gonna think that you’re crazy, you’re gonna have to give up on some nights going out, some fun stuff, but that’s what education is about, and that’s frankly why I show you all the stuff that you can have decades in, you’re catching me 20 years into my journey in the stock market, I have a pretty freaking amazing life, despite having to teach for seven straight live hours tomorrow. It’s fine, I love my job, I’m very grateful. Just be dedicated. Remember to leave a comment below, after how many hours do you think I will lose my voice tomorrow during my live seven-hour webinar, and also click the link just below this video if you want access to my live webinars every single week, it’s not just me, it’s also my top students and we teach our hearts out because we want to make you successful.

A lot of people want to know how to trade stocks with little to no free time.

Here’s the thing, we all have busy lives. Maybe you have a family, a full-time job, or you’re a student — it all comes down to how you manage your work-life or work-trade balance. We’re all different and deal with life in our own ways. But to find that balance, you need to be obsessed …

When you really want something, you figure out a way to get it. And that requires dedication and a solid work ethic.

I manage to film video lessons, answer questions, and give live training webinars to my Trading Challenge students. And I do it all while traveling, trading, and doing charity work!

So if you truly want to find success in an industry where most traders lose — you have to put in hours. It can mean a ton of effort and sacrifices on your part. Instead of going out on a Friday night, stay home and hit some video lessons. Whenever you can, take an hour or two to study.

But remember to keep it all in check. So don’t overdo it either. Don’t burn yourself out. Understand that you won’t learn the markets or how to trade overnight or even within a few months. Aside from dedication, it takes patience.

Only you can decide if you really want this lifestyle. But if you do, regardless of how busy your life may be, you can find and make the time … if you’re willing and ready.

How badly do you want to be a trader? What are you willing to sacrifice to make time to study? Leave a comment below and let me know!
